about 1828 would have been Owen BIGGINS's brother.

From a 1892 clipping "HE (Owen BIGGINS) HELPED BUILD THE GAS WORKS
of this city, Springfield and was employed by that corporation for 20 years,
He built the Gas Works at Hamilton, Ohio. When the Water Works of this city,
Springfield, was built he assumed charge of the Pipe Works and construction
which position he held until the time of his death."

Foreman John BIGGINS is Dead" news clipping probably 29 March 1911 Springfield,
Ohio
"John Biggins, well known Springfield citizen who has been foreman of all street construction work for nearly twenty years and who was the sole survivor of a group of men who worked on the original water works in this city. Springfield 30 years ago, died at the City Hospital Wed. morning at 9:30 o'clock. Death was due internal trouble necessitating an operation Tuesday, from which he failed to rally. Mr. Biggins had been in failing health for a year or more, but remained on duty until last Sat. noon. He was removed to the City Hospital for the operation. Mr. Biggins was 52 years of age and a bachelor. He resided at 1019 Park Ave.....
